Spiritual Warrior

This mandala was done with watercolor on wet paper. . I drew the circle  painted areas of color I really did not see the design of the flower or plan the shapes. They seemed to appear out of the negative space around the shapes that I created. I was trying to bypass  the conscious part of my brain and tue into only the intuitive and allowing the colors to flow into each other. The symbols  represent strength and power. In reflecting on this mandala it reminded me of a warrior shield. I thought of the idea of a spiritual warrior. One that has power because of her own inner strength.
